PSMFC EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATIONS
As a PSMFC employee you may be eligible for a variety of excellent benefits. Benefits eligibility is determined by the length of employment and number of hours worked. Please see below for more information.
Temporary
Temporary positions are between 0-6 months in duration.
Seasonal
Seasonal positions are between 6-11 months in duration. Seasonal employees may qualify for holiday pay, seasonal time-off, the employee assistance program and health insurance.
Full-Year
Full-year positions are 12 months or more in duration. Full-year employees may qualify for holiday pay, vacation leave, sick leave, personal leave, health insurance, life insurance, LTD insurance, AD&D insurance, the employee assistance program, flexible spending account, pension, and post employment health plan.
PSMFC participates in the E-Verify program. E-Verify is an Internet-based system operated by USCIS in partnership with SSA. E-Verify electronically compares information entered on the Employment Eligibility Verification, Form I-9, with records contained in SSA and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) databases to help employers verify the identity and employment eligibility of newly hired employees.
