INFORMATION AND ACTION

When we fly over or float down our watersheds we can see areas where habitat has been protected and restored. We can see the results of conscientious development, agriculture, and forestry. These are tangible examples of positive efforts made by members of our communities to protect and improve our watershed. We encourage all of you to join in these efforts! guy and fish In our personal life we can contribute by making watershed-wise and salmon friendly choices. We can conserve resources, limit our water consumption, and use environmentally friendly products. We can also encourage our neighbors to do the same. There are many ways to become involved, whether it be through restoration projects, education outreach, or advocacy efforts. In doing so we not only participate in protecting our watersheds, we also contribute to building a caring and sustainable community. Information on how to further support these efforts is often available through local watershed groups and agencies.
